Skin Sense
Skin. Our body’s largest organ. And for Canton native Joanne Neme, caring for people’s skin became the focus of her career, through her business, Skin Sense LLC. “I have always been passionate about skin care,” she relates. “I focus on educating my clients on the various skincare products and ingredients — which can either help or harm their skin. Skin care is vital, particularly when it comes to aging. I have always focused on continuing my own education to offer the best services possible — but I also use only the best skincare products on my clients, so they see maximum results.” Glymed Plus, Dermalogica, Eminence and ZO Skin Health are among the professional-grade products Joanne works with.
With more than 20 years’ experience in the skin care industry, Joanne’s mission is helping her clients’ skin look its best. “My most popular offering is the customized facial service,” Joanne explains. “I evaluate each client’s skin at the beginning of their appointment and create a facial service targeted to their skin type, concerns and a variety of other factors. Many men and women think I may only focus on facial services, but I also offer relaxation services — that includes a face, arm, foot and back massage in addition to a hot towel treatment. Additionally, I provide waxing services and lash/brow tint services.”
Joanne looks at her work as a way to give back to the Canton community, providing relaxation and restorative services to the place she’s called home for most of her life. “Not only do I want to offer the best services possible to my clients, but I am also working hard to maintain affordable pricing, which I believe sets me apart from the rest,” Joanne adds. “It is important that clients receive monthly facials if possible to see the best results in their skin, and I also offer home care regimens to keep them on track between the times they come in to see me — another reason it’s extremely important to me to offer affordable prices.”
Skin Sense is located in suite 209 of the My Salon Suites of Canton at Hanford and Canton Center, next to Canton Pediatrics/Discovery Middle School.
