Marco’s Pizza
If you’re looking for a passionate, ardent supporter of all things Canton, look no farther than Amit Joshi — AJ for short. He came to the United States in 2007 from his native India, earned degree at Wayne State University, then went to work at Ford Motor Company as a Mechanical Engineer and settled his family in Canton. “I always wanted to become a businessman/entrepreneur and own my own food business,” AJ relates. That dream led him to open his Franchise of Marco’s Pizza in July 2020. “We live in Canton and wanted to serve our community,” he says.
AJ loves engaging with customers and aims to serve the best pizza in town. Already, his Deluxe and Pepperoni Magnifico Pizzas, Cheesy Bread and wings are neighborhood favorites. But AJ urges customers not to miss the calzones and pizza bowls (crustless and baked in a bowl with cheeses and toppings). “For us, customer satisfaction and happiness is our top priority,” he emphasizes. “We promise to never let any customer walk out of the store unhappy. We take pride in serving our customers the best quality pizza — we make the fresh dough and sauce in-house every day.”
Beyond serving Canton with delicious meals, AJ seeks out opportunities to support area schools and sports teams. “We love supporting our community and have partnered with many schools and sports team for fundraising,” he notes, inviting those interested in fundraisers to connect with him at hdave@marcospizza.net. “Like us on Facebook for everyday deals,” AJ adds. “And we are hiring all year ‘round, and we encourage students to apply. We also offer paid internships.” As if that’s not enough, AJ also serves the country as a proud member of the US Army Reserve. Look for Marco’s on N. Canton Center Road south of Warren.
