Melissa had a larger than life personality. She was thoughtful, kind, generous, funny, self-deprecating and loyal.
She loved this community down to her core.

A lifelong resident of Canton, Melissa served as the township’s treasurer from 2008 to 2016 and was a trustee for over 20 years. She also served on the Canton Planning Commission, the Canton Historic District commission and as chair for the Canton Downtown Development Authority. Melissa loved Canton and Canton loved her.
