Fishing Derby

One of Canton’s longest-running traditions returns on Saturday, May 7. Join us at the ponds of Heritage Park from either 9a-12p for this family-friendly event. Tickets are available for purchase starting April 15 at www.cantonfun.org/register. Only those who will be fishing need to purchase a ticket. Fishing Derby Rules: *Everyone fishing MUST have a ribbon, regardless of age *Fishing ribbon should be pinned in sight (best spot is on the back of the shoulder so we can see the ribbon from behind while you are fishing). *Limit of 3 ‘keepers’ per ribbon. *No ‘chumming’ or ‘netting’. *Please be respectful of others.
