Antonio’s Cucina Italiana
For 58 years, Antonio’s restaurants have been serving up fresh, authentic Italian dishes. “Canton has been a wonderful location — it’s a great community atmosphere,” says Anthony Rugiero. He began learning the family business from a young age and is now CEO and President. “Our business stands out because we’re family-owned and operated — we prepare all our food in-house with no additives or GMOs.”
Antonio’s Cucina Italiana was recently awarded Best Italian Restaurant of 2022 by the Detroit News and Free Press and Hour Magazine. “We are known for our pizza, pastas and veal dishes,” Anthony notes. And last year, the restaurant launched a useful feature for people craving their authentic dishes but unable to dine out. “Our Take & Bake program allows people to cook and enjoy their favorite stuffed pasta dishes in the comfort of their homes with instructions included,” Anthony says. Choose from lasagna, veggie lasagna, manicotti, cannelloni, seafood manicotti and eggplant parmesan.
Look for Antonio’s Cucina Italiana in the Purple Block, near the corner of Ford Rd. and Canton Center by Meijer. “We have a giant white horse and chariot on our roof, so we’re hard to miss,” Anthony points out. Antonio’s also has locations in Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Farmington Hills and Livonia.
